Fun Valentines Day Makeup

For this Valentine's Day, I wanted to do something fun with my makeup. Normally I do a more toned down look, especially if I am going out to dinner. So I figured it was time for a change. Also, I just recently purchased the new Radioactive eyeshadow stack by Melt Cosmetics and I have been looking for a reason to use it. All the shades are super neon and pigmented. While they are gorgeous shadows, it is hard to implement such bright colors into your daily routine. This just happened to be the perfect opportunity to use the hot pink from the stack!

For this look, I placed Baby from the Gwen x Urban Decay palette on my lid.  I then defined my crease with Punk from the same palette. I smoked out the hot pink shade from the Radioactive stack that was mentioned earlier. I blended this all out with X-Rated shade from the Vice 2 Urban Decay palette. This palette is limited addition and no longer for sale. You can get the same effect by using a light pink shade that is matte. I finished the look off by applying some shimmery pigment on the brow bone. If you do not own all these palettes, that is fine! You can recreate the look using a light shimmery shade on the lid, a dark brown or burgundy to define, and a matte hot pink. For the lip color, you could use something similar to what I am wearing or you could apply a light nude.

I played around with my hair for this look too. I figured if I was going to a Galentines event, I would wear it up because it just looks more fun and flirty. If I was going out with my boyfriend, I would wear my hair down, as pictured below. Whatever you decide to do, have fun with it!
